“Celebrating Together, Galaxidi 2025”, a three-day cultural and sports event will be held for the first time in Galaxidi on May 16-18, 2025, a “celebration of unity” that will focus on the concept of community and the harmonious interaction of all members of society.
The award-winning life-sharing community “ESTIA Agios Nikolaos” for adults with and without developmental disabilities, in collaboration with AthensTrainers® and Ganymede Hotel conceived this Festival, which the Delphi Municipality is co-organizing. The Elementary Education Directorate of Fokida is co-organizing the events for all schools in Central Greece, while the Prefecture of Central Greece is actively supporting us. The Festival is under the Auspices of the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family.
The Festival aims to highlight essential life values such as empathy, respect, love, trust, and acceptance, promoting a lifestyle where everyone is welcomed, valued, and actively involved in the community. The focus is not merely on inclusion but on co-creation and, more importantly, mutual enrichment, embracing a model where “WE” comes before “I”.
The most important aspect of the Festival is fostering long-term sensitization to the acceptance of diverse persons and the lifting of prejudice and exclusion, by highlighting that each person is diverse. Many of the events scheduled for May 16-18 are already being prepared by “mixed” groups, ensuring that the true essence of “TOGETHER” leaves a lasting impact.
The “ESTIA Agios Nikolaos” community leads the way in the practice of Equitable Inclusion. For the past 32 years, people with and without intellectual disabilities, live, work, and celebrate life in mutual enrichment. Committed to Extroversion, the Community has played a leading role in the social development and cohesion of the entire region. The initiative “Celebrating TOGETHER” aims to amplify the impact of its message.
The three main themes of the Celebration are:
The school actions, “Celebrating TOGETHER Equitable Communities”
The educational initiative “Celebrating TOGETHER – Equitable Communities” is organized jointly by ESTIA Agios Nikolaos and the Directorate of Elementary Education Directorate of Fokida , under the guidance of the Regional Education Quality Supervisor of Central Greece. It is supported by the Prefecture of Central Greece, and has been included in its 2025 weeklong awareness drive for inclusion.
The main goal of “Celebrating TOGETHER , Equitable Communities” is to highlight precious values —such as empathy, respect, love, trust, and acceptance—through collaborative projects. It promotes a lifestyle where everyone is welcomed, valued, and actively engaged in the community. The initiative seeks to place schools at the center stage of the collective consciousness of understanding, respect, and advocacy for shared human rights.
School plays a crucial role in promoting the universal language of equality, respect, and dignity for all individuals.
“Celebrating TOGETHER , Equitable Communities” aspires to strengthen the meaning of active citizenship, encouraging students to engage socially, interact with diverse groups, and develop a sense of social responsibility.

• Social Skills: Empathy and awareness, relationship-building, social communication, mutual support, and respect for diversity.
• Digital Skills: Creation of digital projects and interdisciplinary use of technology.
