Christmas is here and our current issue is 10 + 1 major reasons not skipping your exercise program during Christmas …So:
1) It improves our mood. Exercise boosts serotonin levels and therefore it creates a feeling of wellbeing.
2) It keeps in shape not only our body but our mind as well. Greeks use to say “healthy mind in healthy body” since when we exercise we use our mind too.
3) It fights stress . When we work out, our mind is busy to think anything else that cause stress and anxiety.
4) It makes us feel happy and boost our confidence. After training our body seems to have a better shape!
5) It improves our body posture. Many of us have wrong body posture, particularly in the upper back. Exercise to help us stand upright.
6) It increases our energy and strength levels.
7) It fights depression. Nowadays many personal or business problems concern us and make us feel depressed. Exercise relaxes and helps us overcome any difficulties by thinking positive.
8) It helps us resist to holiday temptations. So we have better self control.
9) It makes our life more fun and exciting. More than 80% of people are listening to music while exercising and therefore time passes pleasantly.
10) It protects us from colds and flues … when we exercise we make we produce antibodies that make our immune system stronger against microbes and sickness.
