Here we are…in July…July is a “hot” month…
So, this month one should avoid excessive food of all kinds and excessive drinking.
Eat, in moderation rich kind meat from castrated animals, hare, gazelle, deer, turtle doves and wood pigeons. Always eat them with some vinegar. Garden herbs as for June.
This means garlic…do not forget it, we adore garlic and its smell… onion, leeks, radish, rocket, cress and chopped oregano and mint…I cannot imagine a bus full of smell of garlic…do not do that if you decide to eat garlics…do it when you go somewhere by car… Among fish eat the rich-fleshed kinds such as corkwing and wrasse. Conserves in honey vinegar and in fish sauce and vinegar.
Among fruits, choose the moister ones such as melons…oh, that’s really good…. green figs eaten with salt…no comment… a new taste…a unique combination…any grapes except the black ones, pear, apple, plum, peach, and all that are moist to eat.
Light wines…eat sparingly, but take plenty of wine, also rose wine…I do not think it is a good idea… Do not take any vegetable soups except carrot flavored with honey and spikenard.
Eight baths in this month…no more… I do not understand that…wash briskly, using a lotion incorporating Cimolian fullers’ earth. As you understand not sexual activities at all. Do not use purges…I do not believe it…do you?
Oh, come on…August is coming… Be optimistic….Things can be better….So stay tuned!!!
