Table top pose

Step  2

Extend one leg backwards placing the ankle or the shin on the yoga wheel.

Step 3

Balance and place the other leg with the ankle on the yoga wheel

Step 4

Lift up in the pose, broaden your chest, lift your torso, glide your shoulder blades towards the pelvis

Step 5

Draw the belly button towards the spine, work your legs and squeeze your inner thighs together

Step 6

Feel the spine lengthening

Upward-Facing Dog Pose is an important pose to learn as this backbend is one of the postures that is practiced during Sun Salutation Sequences.
